Job description
As a Bartender, you are responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and providing excellent service to our guests. You create a welcoming atmosphere, ensure a well-organized bar, and contribute to an optimal guest experience. You work closely with the restaurant team and ensure that all drinks are prepared and served according to the highest quality and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing subject-matter expertise in the drafting and evaluation of treatment and support plans
  • Preparation and serving of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and quality standards
  • Welcoming and serving guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Taking drink orders and advising on drinks and cocktails
  • Preparing classic and signature cocktails
  • Processing orders, payments, and maintaining guest accounts
  • Preparing garnishes and ensuring a well-stocked bar
  • Ensuring a clean, organized, and hygienic workplace
  • Assisting the restaurant team with drink orders
  • Checking stock levels and passing on orders in a timely manner
  • Professional handling of guest inquiries, requests, and complaints
  • Work in accordance with applicable food safety, hygiene, and alcohol guidelines
  • Assisting with opening, closing, and inventory duties

Job Requirements:

  • Experience as a bartender in a restaurant, bar, or hotel is a plus.
  • Passion for hospitality and excellent guest service
  • Good communication and social skills
  • Stress-resistant and able to work efficiently in a dynamic environment
  • Accurate, organized, and with an eye for detail
  • Good command of the English language, both spoken and written
  • Proficiency in Dutch, Papiamentu, or Spanish is a plus.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Presentable and service-oriented
