Job description
As a Sales / Cashier Representative, you are responsible for providing an excellent shopping experience to customers. You combine sales and cashier duties and support the daily operational activities of the store. Thanks to your customer-oriented attitude, product knowledge, and commercial insight, you ensure that customers receive optimal service and that sales targets are met.
Responsibilities:
- Welcoming customers in a friendly and professional manner and advising them on products
- Ensuring excellent customer service and a positive shopping experience
- Processing cash register transactions in a correct and efficient manner
- Actively contribute to achieving sales targets
- Building and maintaining good product knowledge to advise customers optimally
- Assisting with inventory checks and identifying inventory discrepancies
- Assisting with restocking and presenting products in the store
- Ensuring a neat, organized, and attractive store environment
- Assisting with the daily operational activities of the store
Job Requirements:
- MBO working and thinking level is a plus
- Experience in retail, sales, or as a cashier is a plus.
- Customer-oriented, presentable, and enthusiastic attitude
- Good communication and commercial skills
- Results-oriented and motivated to achieve sales targets
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Accurate and reliable in processing payments
- Physically able to work standing for extended periods
- Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts
- Good command of Dutch and English; Papiamentu and Spanish are a plus.
